Park access denial atrocious

As if there weren?t already a handful of reasons why the new fees implemented in the outdoor recreation areas are uncalled for, now I find out that the leader of the State Parks in our state quit when it was discovered that a surplus of $54 million has been sitting around, while they threatened closures and implemented/raised use fees! When will it end? The government keeps burning the common man by wasting our tax dollars and then just charges us more, and then we come across these scandals every couple months or so. I live in the foothills here and love to enjoy the outdoors constantly. To have these vultures unjustly governing access to these areas is atrocious. Roger Cox, Foresthill
