Holden Law Group, with offices in Downtown Auburn, has added Kimberley A. Worley and J. Edward Brooks to the practice. Worley is an employment law attorney and civil litigator. She represents employers in contract actions and claims for wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, discrimination and other employment-related issues. She has also defended against state and federal wage class actions and advises employers on measures to avoid litigation. Worley received her J.D. and bachelor of science in business administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She has 15 years of experience litigating at a national employment law firm. Brooks represents employers in civil litigation matters pending in the state courts, federal courts and administrative agencies. He earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. His education also includes a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Arizona State University in and a master’s degree in secondary education and curriculum from Northern Arizona University. Prior to joining the Holden Law Group, Brooks served as a deputy district attorney in Sacramento County where he successfully prosecuted numerous jury trials to guilty verdicts.
