Auburn attorney Bob Litchfield has received the Martindale-Hubbard client distinction award for excellence in service to his clients. The award, presented Oct. 3, was based on ratings from clients, who provided feedback in the areas of communication ability, responsiveness, quality of service and value for money. Less than 4 percent of the 900,000 attorneys listed in Martindale-Hubbard have received the honor, a press release said. Litchfield is a graduate of West Point and a former captain in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated second in his law school class at McGeorge School of Law in 1980. He is a part-time instructor of business law at Sierra College. With three other attorneys, he co-authored a textbook on business law that is currently in use at the college. He’s also the author of four inspirational books. Litchfield is a board member of Auburn Rotary Club and on the advisory board for Auburn Habitat for Humanity, Caring About Kids and the Auburn Salvation Army. He has been a candidate for Superior Court judge.
