People in business: PEACE adds two employees

PEACE for Families has added to its staff in order to better serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Recent hirees include Heather Bullis-Cruz as volunteer coordinator and Amanda Kodet as the community affairs associate. Bullis-Cruz will oversee the recruitment, training and retention of the dedicated group of volunteers associated with PEACE. She has more than five years of health education experience and has most recently served as the director of worksite wellness for Savvy Fitness and currently as the evaluator for the Placer County Drug Free Communities Grant. Kodet will coordinate community outreach and assist with fundraising efforts for the organization. She has sales and marketing experience from prestigious communities such as Winchester Country Club and Timilick Tahoe. For more information about PEACE for Families, visit
