Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Foundation has appointed Matthew G. Pohley as the newest, and youngest, member of the foundation board. As a board member Pohley, 27, will attend Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Foundation meetings, participate on foundation committees and actively fundraise for the foundation to support the hospital’s programs and services. “Matt will be a tremendous asset to our foundation board not only because he brings a new perspective, but also because he really wants to make a difference in our community,” said Mindy Danovaro, executive director of the Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Foundation. Born at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital in 1983, Pohley has lived in Auburn his entire life. His strong ties to the Auburn area extend back five generations on his father’s side of the family. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Pohley currently is a senior project engineer with Rudolph & Sletten, working on high profile health care projects and campuses.
