Placer’s Assistance League quite a fashionable bunch

-A +A
The Assistance League of Greater Placer is available to model their “Fashions on a Budget” free to organizations in Placer County. The fashions are from the chapter’s thrift shop at 1263 Highway 49 in Auburn. The Thrift Shop is the main fundraiser for the chapter’s philanthropic programs. For more information on the group’s programs, visit greater placer.assistanceleague.org. Contact Fran Sukut at (530) 268-1591 for more information and how to set up a fashion show for your group. Assistance League is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to putting care and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs with more than 120 chapters and guilds nationwide. Funds for all Assistance League programs come from fundraisers, donations and money raised by selling reusable clothing, household items and furniture in the Thrift Shop. Assistance League of Greater Placer served 6,065 Placer County children and adults who needed support last year. Annual Appeal in the fall benefits the community’s children.
