Placer coasts past Center, 13-3

Austin LeBleu pitched five innings and struck out five batters to earn a win on the mound as the Hillmen beat host Center 13-3 Monday afternoon in a Pioneer Valley League game.

LeBleu gave up three runs and was 3 for 4 at the plate. LeBleu, who is now batting .354 on the season, scored two runs and added two RBI.

Logan Markstein tossed the final two innings and struck out four batters. The sophomore was 3 for 3 on the day and had a run, double and RBI.

Troy Taylor was 2 for 4 with two runs, an RBI and a double.

Placer (7-11, 3-3) hosts Center Wednesday at James Field for a 4 p.m. league contest.
