The Placer girls Central 2 division league win comes on the heels of last year’s state championship team, led by Paige Rothe, the 2009 state giant slalom champion, and Kenworthy, the overall state girls champion and slalom winner. The high school ski teams compete in six league races in order to qualify for the state high school ski racing championships, scheduled in March 2010 at Mount Shasta ski resort.
