The Placer High girls volleyball team ended Lincoln High’s two-game winning streak with a convincing 25-18, 25-10, 25-17 victory Monday night at Lincoln. With the win, the Hillgals are now a perfect 4-0 in the Pioneer Valley League and a solid 9-5 overall. Lincoln is now 2-2 and 11-6 overall. Sophomore Kirsten Schauble led the way with six aces on the night and middle blocker and outside hitter Erin Ellner had six kills. Senior Emily Jones and junior Kellyn Mcdonald each had five kills while Junior setter Gabby Orteza came up with 21 digs. The Hillgals will look to knock off Foothill High on Wednesday at Placer.
