Placer High soccer player still listed in serious condition
Andrew Carducci, a Placer High School soccer player, is still listed in serious condition at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, according to a spokesperson with the hospital.
Carducci was one of eight Placer High students involved in a rollover crash on Interstate 80 on Friday. Six of those students were taken to area hospitals and Carducci was flown from the scene via Calstar.
Robin Montgomery, spokesperson for Sutter Roseville Medical Center, said on Monday Carducci is still listed in serious condition. He was listed in critical condition immediately after Friday's crash.
On Friday, Placer High Soccer Coach Dave Brown said Carducci has fractured skull and a severe concussion.
Two students, Adam Norcott and Gavin Royce were treated at the scene and released. Students Anna Rea, Kelsey Robinson and Nikolai Figueroa were all also taken to Sutter Roseville and were treated and released on Friday.
Brea Wallace and Regan Decker were both treated and released at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital on Friday.
