The Placer High School JV baseball team got another solid outing from its pitchers and the team's bats came to life as the Hillmen crushed Christian Brothers 12-2 on Tuesday. 

Coltan Rank and Radd Thomas allowed a combined three hits and also struck out five batters for Placer (2-0), which hosts McClatchy Friday at James Field.

The Hillmen's Lucas Gray, Luis Burrola, Anthony Haswell and Rank all had two hits in the win.  One of Burrola's hits was a double.
