Auburn Police investigators are looking for two suspects responsible for ripping out an ATM machine with a truck and a chain at an Auburn liquor store earlier this week. At approximately 1 a.m. Monday morning, two unidentified suspects broke into the Super K Food & Liquor at Auburn Folsom Road and Herdal Drive in Auburn, said Detective Sgt. Victor Pecoraro of the Auburn Police Department. “At least two persons were there with a truck and a chain,” Pecoraro said. “They broke in through the south door and subsequently put a chain around the ATM machine and ripped it out.” After taking the machine with an undisclosed amount of money in it, the suspects drove off on Auburn Folsom Road, he said. Police have surveillance video of the incident and are currently following a few leads. Anyone with any information is asked to call Detective Rick Hardesty with the Auburn Police Department’s investigations unit at (530) 823-4237, Ext. 207. — Jenna Nielsen
