Beth Gillogly has taken over the Auburn Music Together program. The early childhood classes includes music, songs, dancing, chants and instrument play for newborns to 5-year-olds with parent participation. The classes are held Mondays and Tuesdays at Pamelot dance studio in Auburn, and Tuesdays and Fridays in Granite Bay. Music Together, founded in 1987, is one of first early children programs that emphasizes adult involvement, Gillogly said. Classes are 45 minutes and run on 10-week fall, winter and spring semester schedules. There’s a shorter program in summer. Cost is $150 per child, $95 for the second child in the family. Babies 8 months old and younger can participate free with an enrolled sibling. Enrollment includes a CD with songs and chants, and a songbook that comes with sheet music., Gillogly said. Gillogly, a music minor in college, has been singing professionally since 1988 and has been a canter and music leader in church. Currently, she sings with Crackerjack Jazz Band.
