In response to your editorial comment “River run should focus on the rapids, not the nudity” (Our View, June 24), I am an Auburn Journal subscriber but have not realized how the Auburn Journal newspaper views can be so conservative about the viewpoints of nudity.
I find it so ridiculous, very narrow-minded and hypocritical. There is public acceptance of violence in ads, TV, newspapers and foul language but the beauty of a nude body is stigmatized. It is not like individuals are flaunting their body in public. They are respectfully taking refuge behind the rocks but only the curious ones who seek them out are irritated and upset. I myself prefer clothing on me but accept freedom of choice.
