I have been trying to make sense of the rambling, offensive, semi-coherent and grammatically butchered letter by one Donna O’Neal in Friday’s letters (June 12.) Noting that she also lives in Foresthill and seems to foam at the mouth at anything she sees as “liberal,” I wonder if she has been drinking from the same well as Dianne Foster. Looking at her letter, I cannot help but be reminded of the old adage by, I believe, Mark Twain: “It is often better to keep one’s mouth closed and have people suspect you’re a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.” Sorry, Donna.
