After many years as a subscriber, I have decided to cancel my subscription to the Journal because of the hateful, defamatory letters that you persist in publishing.
Several readers have pointed out that keeping hate speech out of the letters column is not the same as censorship; a newspaper has a choice on which letters to print. It does not have to run diatribes or letters that use outrageous slurs against this nation’s president.
Disagreement with policies is one thing; crackpot and vitriolic accusations are another. I’ve had enough.
