We can find money to build a field track, but not for the homeless (“Placer High on track — for new track,” Journal, Jan. 24).
We are misguided and our priorities are wrong!
A sports event should not be at the expense of our poor.
First, you take care of the people. Then you can finance and play your games. This is what a viable society considers first.
The welfare of the people should be our priority, before our self-interests.
