The tragic murder of 20 children — mostly kindergartners — in Newtown, Conn, is the ugly reality of our times. It keeps happening. And it could happen again.
I submit that if we can afford to protect our presidents, we can damn well afford to protect our kids by securing schools regardless of cost. Our kids come first — always!
I’m writing a letter to our legislature, and I hope some of you do the same. Children are more important than money.
