Reader input: Responsibility is on the mother

-A +A

When the tragic killings happened (in Newtown, Conn.), I watched like everyone else across America.  There was one interview that was only shown one time — an interview done with a man who had been hired to babysit 10 years ago. At that time he was told, by (shooter) Adam Lanza’s mother, to never turn his back on Adam, never go to the bathroom and watch him constantly.
Yet this same mother chose to have guns in the house and even showed him how to shoot, why?
I feel the person responsible is dead and it isn’t Adam.
