Reader Input: Supervisors need to pay attention

-A +A

Twenty-six million dollars for an animal shelter?

The concept boggles my mind!

Where is the concept of “personal responsibility” for one’s actions? As in, if you choose to have animals, choose to take care of them properly – don’t put that responsibility off on the taxpayer.
Re: The Journal editorial page (Reader Input, April 2) and comments by: John Sisson, Bill Carpenter and Steven Brown: I think they should be appointed a committee to settle the problem. I bet they could save the taxpayers a bunch of money. I hope the supervisors are paying attention!
