We know Congress has a difficult time with compromise.
Regardless of this fact, these budget cuts could have been avoided. Rather than domestic cuts, we reduce foreign aid. This means no more money, arms and vacating foreign military bases. Our tax dollars should not be used to support foreign nations. They need to defend themselves and take care of their own domestic problems.
The American people are being used as scapegoats to finance foreign interests. Our money needs to stay in America, to support the American people, not foreign economies and their military defenses.
We can offer them humanitarian aid, but no money! We need to use our tax money to strengthen and help domestic America.
