I just got home from the Bay Area and found David laid out the Auburn Journal’s editorial column, “Our View: Don’t dismiss signs of Lyme disease” from Friday’s paper.
I truly got tears reading this as the Auburn Journal as a paper strongly urges the medical community to get on board to educate themselves in this prevalent and devastating illness.
This day has been a long time coming. I cannot help but wonder if our little local newspaper may be the first to not only shed light on Lyme disease but to publicly take a stance on it.
Thank you all for your work to bring forth today. May this mark a change in the medical community’s willingness to educate themselves on proper diagnostic techniques and prevention of tick-borne illness.
