The courts have decided that Hostess can liquidate. Some 18,500 employees in 33 locations are now out of a job. Let’s hear it for the union bosses who figured they knew more about running a business than the Hostess executives.

Because of their greediness and lack of business management knowledge, the union bosses pressured their members into unemployment.

I expect that sooner or later the people of California will realize that unions in this state will eventually drive our state into bankruptcy.

Unions had a place and use in the last century. Today they control the California legislature and force businesses to manufacture offshore.

Union bosses’ ignorance will cause their own destruction and bring the rest of us down with them. It’s time for union reform. We pay more in retired union benefits than we do in useful services.
