Reader upset about schools

I think I discovered why people don’t read newspapers as much as they did. After reading the front page of the (Feb. 13) Auburn Journal – “Is Loomis school district going bankrupt?,” my blood pressure shot sky high. As I read the article I never saw the real reason why they are broke. I didn’t read how much is spent on administration. Is there no way administration can be cut? Does it always have to be the kids that have to pay? Is the school board useless? What do we have to do to keep their wages under control? Maybe I should have said “get” their wages under control. What about a petition? We’ve got to do something. We can’t afford public schools. KNIGHT WAGNER, Colfax
