Reward offered in burglary investigation

Placer County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests in a Tahoe City restaurant burglary. During the early morning hours of Aug. 16, a burglary occurred at the Bridgetender Bar and Restaurant in Tahoe City. Two security safes were forcibly removed from a secured room within the business. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating potential suspects or evidence. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous and who may have seen security safes either discarded or suspiciously kept in a business or residence, contact Placer County Crime Stoppers toll-free at (800) 923-8191.
