I have had the honor of knowing Rich Johnson, candidate for supervisor, Placer County District 5, for many years. Rich has contributed countless hours and days for the citizens of Placer County. He has served as Placer County Planning Commission chairman, president of Placer County Visitor?s Bureau Board, chairman of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce Forum, chairman of Placer County Agricultural Commission and chamber representative for the Middle Fork American River Relicensing Project. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Auburn Chamber Leadership Program; also, a founding member of the Foresthill Fire Safe Council. His list of contributions to Placer County goes on and on, including district ranger in Tahoe National Forest, based in Foresthill. Last, but not least, Rich has served his country too, with service in Vietnam. Rich Johnson has the credentials, and deserves your vote for supervisor, Placer County District 5. JACK POULSEN, Auburn
