Rocklin High School seniors Jennifer Wirt and Ravi Sharma have been awarded Maggi Carlile Memorial Scholarships. The scholarships are offered through Serotonin Surge Charities to dependents of Kaiser Permanente employees. Maggi Carlile, a kind, fun-loving, athletic little girl, was growing up in the Rocklin?Loomis community when she died suddenly in 1997 at age 13. The scholarships honor Maggi?s memory and are given in recognition of efforts to continue her legacy of passion for nature, sports, music, family and faith. Both Wirt and Sharma will graduate from Rocklin High School on June 9. Wirt plans to study at San Diego State while Sharma is headed for UC Berkeley.
