Rosville P.D. to host police business academy

The Roseville Police Department is accepting applications for the Police Business Academy, a new program designed to teach business owners how to help prevent crime and assist law enforcement in keeping commerce vital in the city. The police business academy consists of four sessions beginning Feb. 12 and concluding Feb. 21. The department said the program is meant “to foster a better exchange of information between businesses and the police.” It classes will also crime-prevention practices and reporting strategies.
