I know the Auburn Journal has a reason why they want faces to go along with the peoples’ (online) comments, but I don’t know what it would be.
When I write in to comment about something I would like to think “free speech” would come to mind.
I was with my wife at Save Mart one day, when a lady overheard her call me Knight. The lady spoke up and said, “Oh! I know you, you write in comments to the Auburn Journal.” She went on to say that she didn’t always agree with what I write. The lady was a little huffy. Now all I need is my face next to my article.
Does this mean I’ll be defending myself every time I go shopping?
Of course, my wife says “Does it always have to be your way or the highway?”
If I have a vote – I say no to the faces.
