Schools need solar donor

I read in the AJ that our schools are going forward with solar installation (Who really pays for solar power in California?”, Journal, May 23).
I say “kudos” to them. What a great way to save money, and show our children the benefits of being environmentally friendly.
There is so much out there, i.e. recycling school papers, the composting of old lunches, recycling water bottles and with the savings they have, it can bring income to the teachers, not to mention it’s such a good example to other California schools. Maybe the solar companies can donate some panels instead of charging.
