See city services lapse away

Every morning, I walk about 3.5 miles to keep my heart in as best shape as possible. One “leg” of my walk takes me along Ferrari Ranch Road, and for the past four mornings, I have passed a dead raccoon in the street near the intersection of Ferrari Ranch Road and Ingram Lane. I guess I shouldn’t complain; after all I voted no on Measure K so this is probably the level of services I can expect until the people wake up and vote for Measure K the next time it is presented. I just wonder how long the dead raccoon would be ignored if it were in front of our (Lincoln) City Hall. Hmmmmmm … Bob Day, Lincoln
