Shop local can mean good deal

A recent experience has made me a believer in “Think Auburn First.” I was looking for a good used first car for my daughter. After looking around Roseville and not finding anything, we decided to look local. I had Pace Auto sales recommended to us. My wife and daughter went and talked to Annie. She had a used Dodge Neon she had just obtained but hadn’t prepped for sale yet but let us drive it anyway. It was what we were looking for. Annie replaced the motor mounts and all four tires. After getting it home, I went to change the oil but the drain plug was stuck and head stripped. Pace quoted me approximately $100 to remove it and replaced it with a new one I provided since the car was bought “As Is.” I gave them the OK, and asked they change the oil filter, too. When the work was done, they told me “no charge.” That is the type of customer service that will keep me shopping local, and recommending Pace to anyone looking for a good deal on a used vehicle.
