A resident’s complaint to police resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old man on a narcotics charge in Auburn Monday night.
According to an Auburn Police Department release, Joshua Ryan Mesna was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of concentrated cannabis. Three others were cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and released from the scene.
Officers acting on the complaint at about 10:12 p.m. discovered seven people around a car in the area of Herdal Drive, three of them under 18 years of age, the report said.
“While on scene, officers developed the suspicion there was marijuana in the car,” Auburn Police Sergeant Gary Hopping said in the report. “And the investigation led to the discovery of several containers of marijuana in the car.
