District 1 Supervisor Rocky Rockholm is up for re-election and I wanted to let all voters know that one of the first things he wanted was a pay raise. Then he charged an unauthorized $10,000 charter plane trip for a meeting in Lake Tahoe, Calif., while he was vacationing in Utah. You, the voters, voiced your disapproval to the $10,000 plane trip. I had the unpleasant experience of seeing how this supervisor of District 1 does business first-hand. Former Supervisor Bill Santucci of District 1 had approved my appointment to the Roseville Memorial Hall Board as a trustee for three, one-year terms. I had served one term as president of the board and was on the Placer County Veterans Advisory council for one year. I was nominated for another year by our Roseville VFW Post 1487 Commander and it was denied by Supervisor Rockholm. Please consider all the issues I have stated. Supervisor Rockholm does not merit our support. Please consider voting for Jack Duran as supervisor for District 1. Victor S. Carbone, Past Commander of VFW Post 1487, Roseville
