Two Auburnites arrested for meth

An Auburn man and woman were arrested this weekend for possessing methamphetamine. At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Auburn Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call on Elm Avenue near Landis Circle, according to a press release issued Monday. According to the press release, while sorting out the dispute, officers located a small amount of methamphetamine in the control of 38-year-old Mark Webb of Auburn. Webb was arrested for the violation and transported to the Placer County Jail where he was booked, according to the press release Around 1:30 p.m., Auburn Police officers were doing follow-up in reference to the above incident in the 500 block of High Street when they located some more methamphetamine in the possession of 36-year-old Tina Heape of Auburn, according to the release. According to the press release, Heape was also in possession of several glass pipes used for smoking methamphetamine. Heape was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and booked into the Placer County Jail for the violation. ~Staff report
