A two-car crash sent two to the hospital Thanksgiving Day. Both Yoon Saeyang, 41, of North Highlands, and Brittney Watson, 22, of Auburn, were taken via ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with major injuries after their vehicles collided at about 4:50 p.m. on Foresthill Road, according to Officer David Montijo, spokesman for the Auburn California Highway Patrol based in Newcastle. Saeyang was driving a 1994 Toyota Tacoma pickup westbound on Foresthill Road at over 40 mph in rain when she reportedly lost control on a curve and started to spin, Montijo said. Saeyang’s vehicle crossed the center divide and hit the front-end of the white 2003 BMW Watson was driving, according to Montijo. The crash occurred near Upper Lake Clementine Road. Montijo said both vehicles sustained major damages. Neither car was carrying any passengers and drugs or alcohol was not a factor, Montijo added. ~ Jenifer Gee
