The upside to choosing Uppal

Jack Uppal is running to replace Tom McClintock as our congressman. He has a doctorate in chemistry from MIT and spent a career in the semi conductor industry. At Intel he was responsible for spending a billion dollars a year to buy equipment for factories all over the world. He learned to negotiate and look for win-win solutions. He was a manager of research teams and large divisions of the company. His approach to problems would not be from a Democratic or Republican perspective but to get the best solution for his district. He has been trained as a scientist to look for evidence and fact-driven solutions. Our present congressman is too extreme and starts with ideology when looking at a problem. Mr. Uppal deserves a good look as a possible representative in Congress. Paul W. Comiskey, Newcastle
