Wal-Mart haters, give it up

If the truth was known, the people that say they don’t want a Wal-Mart store in Auburn will be the first ones in line at the opening day of Wal-Mart. Think of the gas you’ll save not having to drive to Roseville. If the local stores would back off their inflated prices, Wal-Mart wouldn’t even try to get a store built in Auburn. If Hills Flat can come down on their prices, then so can everyone else. Since they are now competing, nobody is running down to Home Depot. Let’s pray they sell groceries. The markup on groceries is unreal – probably 60 percent on milk at our local store. KNIGHT WAGNER, Colfax
