Wet weather restricts Foresthill's Sugar Pine-area OHV trails

-A +A
The Forest Service will be restricting motorized use due to wet weather conditions on the off-highway vehicle trails and roads in the Sugar Pine area of the Tahoe National Forest near Foresthill. The closure went into effect Wednesday and will remain in place until conditions dry sufficiently to protect all resources when motorized use resumes. District Ranger Chris Fischer said officials recognize the closure will be a disappointment to off-highway vehicle users but he hopes they will understand the need to protect the trail tread and resources.
