Bella Engbretson was 6 of 16 from downtown and scored 28 points to lead her Foresthill girls basketball team in a 63-28 romp at Delta Friday night.
Cherish Miles added 20 points and Kendra Godon chipped in with seven for the Wildfires, who improved to 10-12, 5-4 in the Central Valley California League.
"This was the fifth game back for Bella and, as you can see, she is starting to get comfortable," Foresthill coach Sean Namanny said. "Cherish does everything for us and played a great game defensively."
The Wildfires played without starters Sadie Stroup (knee) and Emily Perez (hip).
Foresthill returns to the court Tuesday when it hosts Sacramento Waldorf at 7 p.m.
