FORESTHILL — Trailing by 10 points with three minutes to go, the Foresthill High football team rallied for a 26-24 victory over visiting Delta Friday night. After senior running back Kyle Potter scored to bring the Wildfires (4-4, 2-3 Sacramento Metro Athletic League) within four, junior placekicker Christian Addington recovered his own onside kick at Delta’s 48 to set up the winning drive. Junior fullback Jake Henry capped that drive with 50 seconds to go, scoring his second TD of the game on a 1-yard run to give Foresthill the victory. Henry also racked up 16 tackles at linebacker, 12 of them assisted, to lead Foresthill defensively. Senior Jared Mosier rushed 16 times for 103 yards to pace a Wildfires attack that amassed 303 yards on the ground. Fellow running back Dimitri Vasquez, a junior, scored a touchdown for Foresthill, which only threw the ball twice.
