The world’s not your milk farm

You know, several years ago on the milk farm, we had many fires annually on a hill close to our milk house (separator, cooler, bottler, etc.). Broken milk bottles and defects were gotten rid of by tossing them down the hill. Between the storms, the hot sun, and water in the thick lens-like glass, fires would start and burn the grass up the hill. But hay (pun), it kept the stubble pretty well burned-out! I say, shouldn’t folks keep tossed glass and plastic containers that can hold water picked up? GEORGE LASATER, Auburn
