State of The City
State of the City Set for Feb. 27 Make plans now to sponsor and attend the upcoming 2009 State of the City address and luncheon hosted by the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce. Expected to be another sellout, this annual event is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 and will feature Rocklin City Manager Carlos Urutia as the keynote speaker. Urutia will be focusing on the city’s recent accomplishments and what to expect in the future. “State of the City provides a great opportunity to hear what’s going on in the City and to mix with local VIPs and key business people,”said Scott Yuill, owner of Scott Yuill Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. in Rocklin and a Rocklin City Councilmember. “From my perspective as a local business person and City Councilmember, this event provides valuable networking, education, and marketing opportunities for anyone living and working in the community.” Sponsoring the event is a great way to jumpstart your marketing for the New Year and a wide range of opportunities are available. Each sponsorship level includes tickets to the event as well as tremendous exposure for your company. Sponsorships start as low as $150 for an event booth to promote your business or for a “Train Depot” sponsorship. Additional categories are available for $250, $500 and $1000 and all include event tickets, your business name in the event program and at least one PowerPoint slide that will run before and after the speaker. Take advantage of the opportunity to market your business to a captive audience of local dignitaries and area business people by sponsoring the Chamber’s 2009 State of the City. Tickets to the event are expected to sell out well in advance so be sure to make your reservations early. Individual tickets are $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Register online at www.RocklinChamber.com. For more information, contact the Chamber at 624-2548.
