It started out with these words:

I checked it later in the day to see how many views it had received and found several comments.

I wrote one humorous response to several of those who had commented. Later, thinking about the question of whether Jesus would have sat down to eat at the Pancake Breakfast, I started thinking about an old Zappa tune...

"At St. Alfonzno's Pancake Breakfast..."

My son asked about it so I got on youtube and found a live version from the seventies. The xylophone and wonderfully orchestrated rendition was fun to hear again, so I added another comment and posted the link.

Unfortunately, I hadn't waited to hear the entire song and the last verse contained a stream of Zappa-PottyMouth that I thought totally inappropriate for the Auburn Journal. Instead of waiting for the Journal to try to eliminate the comment, I just deleted the entire blog.

Sorry for those who had wanted to make their various points on my thread. It just had to be done, dear neighbors.

Anyway, ya'll are welcome to come to church tomorrow.

We have Bible Study for all ages at 9:00am. Our Worship Service is at 10:15 and usually concludes around 11:30.

After the Morning Worship Service, we will allow people to glean from the remnant of Saturday's Multi-Family Sale.

There is still clothing, toys, electronics, tools, shoes, jewelry, purses, kitchen and household goods.

Everything will be free for the gleaners. You don't have to attend church to participate, but please wait until 11:30 if you're coming for the sole purpose of gleaning.

Sorry there won't be any pancakes or cars washed!
