Pharmaceuticals looking for H1N1 Vaccine testers
By 2049er

Several Pharmaceutical companies are seeking volunteers to be tested with a vaccine for the H1N1 (I'm not mentioning the other name for the flu so as to not offend the Pig industry).

It appears that there will be 8 test centers around the U.S. The closest to Auburn, is Seattle, WA. The other 7 cities appear to be Bush 2004 controlled cities.

National Institutes of Health Test centers:

--University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore.

--University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.

--Saint Louis University, St. Louis.

--Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.

--Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati.

--Emory University, Atlanta.

--Group Health Cooperative, Seattle.

--Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn.

NIH (the government) will also sponsor these vaccines tests by providing various resources. Local Auburnites should form a travel group of 40 people or more, then I am sure the government will pick up the tab for the charter bus. Probably no more than $10,000 for each direction. I think that volunteers could probably find a host family to take care of them for the 2 day overnight trip.

The test will be in two phase injections. The conclusions of the test will not be known until regular flu vaccination season is past its peak.
