Use the bus, or walk to school
This is in reference to “Granite Bay neighborhood in the red over school traffic,” which was published in The Press Tribune, Oct. 14, by Megan Wood. As someone who for three years had to commute from Roseville past Granite Bay High School on Roseville Parkway, I understand. I have a solution for the problem. They are called buses. They don’t cost that much money so why don’t more people use them? Also we are teaching our children it’s acceptable to sit in traffic for 20 minutes two times a day because you are too lazy to walk, ride a bike or be inconvenienced by public transportation. Why not get some exercise on the way to school? Just an idea. Scott Sickler, Roseville
