If you drive you son or daughter to Skyridge school then you are aware of how the system is supposed to work. What I am unable to understand is why a handful of parents seem to set a bad example for there own kids and those of others by deliberately not following the rules of the parking lot. Is it that you as parents want your child to know that you are better than the other 200 other cars and trucks that do follow the rules by not double and triple parking, causing a huge safety hazard not to mention a pain in the rear for the rest of us. I have seen multiple times when the black Audi Q5 SUV has double or triple parked that a child or parent that are walking through the parking lot were not seen and almost were hit. This also goes for the white Ford Explorer with custom wheels, the black Mercedes 4 door and the multiple lifted trucks. Just because your truck can park on other cars does not mean you should. A red zone is red for a reason. If the school will not enforce the rules that all of us know then what example is that giving to the kids? It will be sad when the day comes that we have to have grief counselors at the school because one of the kids we killed because the rules were not followed.
