The fall of the Berlin Wall is one the most monumental displays of freedom the world has ever seen. Last night I was lucky enough to be one of the 100,000 people lining the streets of Berlin watching an absolutely incredible celebration of this freedom. The German people have had quite a turbulent history, but for the moment it is capped by the events that took place on November 9th, 1989. Berlin's last 20 years should stand as a symbol to the world of hope and unity, but most importantly, remind us all that freedom isn't by any means free.
