I think I have our government all figured out:

We pay gas tax, we pay sales tax, we pay income tax, we pay property tax, we pay state tax, we pay federal tax, we pay all kinds of taxes.

But I note when we need a new school, or facility, or new bridge, or repaired bridge, or roadwork, or fire protection, or just about anything, it almost always only gets done when a bond is placed against it in order to raise the money for it. Hmm ... I wonder where all that tax money goes?
