The banning of pitbulls as suggested by Quintin Bohnet, (Reader Input, Nov. 5) and many others, is known in some circles as racial profiling.

The politically correct among us will no doubt be outraged at such a suggestion.

Perhaps (letter writer) Jack Sanchez will insist that it is wrong to treat one ethnic group, no matter how homicidal, differently from any other group, no matter how benign.

Perhaps (letter writer) Ron Lowe will lead a protest march insisting on equal treatment for all canine Americans.
